Program Description
Welcome to our PhD program in Green Energetics. Jobs in the Green Energy sector are some of the world’s fastest growing with demand far outpacing the supply. At EPU our mission is to educate the next generation of Green Energy professionals, leaders, and innovators. Our comprehensive doctoral studies offer a unique opportunity for students to delve into the world of sustainable energy and make a meaningful impact in the field.
Program Duration:
- Regular and independent doctoral studies last up to 3 years (minimum 2 years).
- Part-time and remote options extend up to 4 years (minimum 3 years)
Structured Learning Experience:
- Create a tailored individual study plan with the guidance of our esteemed faculty to chart a path for your academic goals.
- Engage in pedagogical activities.
- Defend a dissertation.
- Take between four and six exams, including one related to the management of educational and scientific projects.
Guidance and Mentorship
The Academic Council (AC) of EPU chooses a specialized scientific mentor from a pool of qualified individuals or doctors recommended by the Department of Green Energetics. Together with your mentor, you’ll create a personalized study plan, which needs to be approved by the AC.
Individual Study Plan Elements:
- Decide on the topic for your dissertation work.
- Plan out your activities for each year.
- Establish exam dates and deadlines.
- Take part in a structured program of lectures, exercises, courses, seminars, conferences, and other academic events.
- Get involved in teaching to improve your academic and professional abilities.
- Have clear stages and deadlines for preparing your dissertation work.
